Following the results of the Turkmen-Hungarian talks at the top, joint documents were signed

Ashgabat hosted talks between Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who arrived on an official visit.
The completion of the negotiations was marked by the signing of joint documents. In particular, the parties signed the Agreement between the governments of Turkmenistan and Hungary on the promotion and protection of investments; Program for cooperation between the ministries of culture of the two countries; Memorandum of Understanding in the field of tourism between the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the Hungarian Tourism Agency; Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of water management between the State Committee for Water Resources of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Hungary.
A memorandum of understanding on scientific and technical cooperation in the field of meteorology was concluded between the Etalon Center of the Main State Service of Turkmenistan "Turkmenstandarts" and the Department of Meteorology and Technical Control of the Office of the Budapest City Government.
Also, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation within the framework of the Stipendium Hungaricum program for 2024-2026 (the Hungarian state scholarship program, which provides free education in Europe).
The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of training diplomatic personnel.
In addition, an Agreement on academic and scientific cooperation was signed between the State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after Myrat Garryev and Semmelweis University, the oldest medical university in Hungary.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Prime Minister Viktor Orban addressed media representatives, TDH reports.
