Films by Tajik directors received a prestigious award in Moscow

Directors from Tajikistan presented their works in two categories to the competent international jury of the forum and were awarded the prize

The film "Water Boy" was recognized as the best feature film of the Golden Arch. The director of the film is Fayzullo Fayzova.

Umed Mirzoshirinov's work "The Younger Brother of Angels" received the "Best Film" award among short films.

Among non-fiction works, the Kyrgyz “Postman” by Ibadylly Adzhibaev won.

The film “Summer Will End Soon” by Yana Skopina was named the best debut.

Among animation, the jury's award was given to "Blues" by David Babayan, and the Azerbaijani "Well" by Elnur Pasha was awarded the title of best student debut.

Tajik directors awarded at Muslim Film Festival

In total, this year, 51 applications from seven countries were submitted to participate in the forum’s competitive program: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
