Discussions dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev were held at the Kazan Forum

Today Kazan hosted the 7th Forum of Young Diplomats with the participation of representatives from 23 countries, organized by the Academy of Youth Diplomacy under the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan (RF), the Council of Young Diplomats under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Eurasian Regional Center of the Youth Forum of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (YRC OIC Youth Forum).

First, the head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, having received the participants, shared his opinion on the importance of this event. At the plenary session, which took place in real and virtual mode, welcoming speeches were made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, the Special Representative of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation with the OIC countries Konstantin Shuvalov, the Chairman of the Board of the ERC of the OIC Youth Forum Elchin Askerov, the Minister of Youth Affairs of Tatarstan Rinat Sadykov and representatives of other leading state bodies of Russia, who spoke about the deepening of relations between the Russian Federation and the OIC countries in recent years, about the role of Islam in the socio-religious life of the country, in particular, stressed that such events play a certain role in the development of bilateral and multilateral relations.

With the participation of members of the State Duma, the Federation Council, representatives of other state institutions of Russia and foreign experts, working sessions were held around such topics as "Diplomacy in a multipolar world", "The role of young diplomats in the system of international relations, the role of institutions in global processes", etc.
