Criminal groups that registered cars using forged documents have been detained in Kazakhstan
The criminal group, using fake receipts, registered 62 trucks in Kazakhstan.The units for combating organized crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs carried out a set of targeted operational-search and investigative measures to suppress and detain criminal groups engaged in illegal registration of vehicles imported from abroad in Kazakhstan, reports Polisia.kz . According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the Akmola region, the police revealed the illegal registration of trucks. It was established that from February last year to April this year, a criminal group, using fake receipts for payment for primary state registration, put 62 trucks on the Kazakh register. The official payment for the initial state registration for each unit of trucks was supposed to be about 7-8 million tenge. According to preliminary data, the total amount of damage to the state amounted to about 500 million tenge. Another criminal scheme was identified and eliminated by fighters against organized crime in Almaty, where passenger vehicles imported to Kazakhstan from South Korea were illegally registered. 250 cars registered under forged documents have already been installed, where the preliminary damage amounted to over 340 million tenge. In this case, the criminal group falsified documents for vehicles, making changes in the column year of manufacture from 2018 to 2020, evaded payment of the established amount of the fee for primary state registration. A criminal scheme was revealed in Astana, where a channel for the supply of vehicles under the guise of spare parts was organized and they were registered in Kazakhstan by forging documents on the replacement of the body without actually carrying it out.
