It is noted that on July 31, the settlement of Langar of the Urmetan rural jamoat of the Ayni district of the Sughd region was subjected to mudflows, as a result of which water pipes were clogged, streets and roads were covered with rubble and mud.
Thus, 150 people were evacuated from the affected area and 7 units of equipment were mobilized, the publication notes.
Employees of the CoES carried out work to clear roads and mudflows.
The authorities of the Zafarabad region sent the necessary food to the victims of the natural disaster: flour, pasta, vegetable oil, etc.
The CoES assessed the damage to agriculture in the Aininsky district after the mudflow
At present, the liquidation of the consequences of the mudflow continues.
Glaciers melted due to an increase in atmospheric air temperature, as a result of which Lake Sugat overflowed its banks and covered 150 m of the Dushanbe-Vahdat-Lyakhsh highway, passing through the territory of the Archakapa settlement of Surkhob rural jamoat, Nurabad district, with a mudflow.
In order to eliminate the consequences and restore traffic, the road service of the Lyakhsh district mobilized 4 units of engineering equipment. As a result of the work carried out on August 1, this section of the road was completely opened and traffic was restored.
