Bakit Tyoryobaev: China is a reliable neighbor, friend and partner for Kyrgyzstan

Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers Bakit Tyoryobaev took part in a meeting of Kyrgyz-Chinese businessmen as part of a visit to the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (People's Republic of China). This was reported by the press service of the Council of Ministers.

Toryobaev noted that Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to the development of friendly and good neighborly relations with China.

“The Kyrgyz Republic and the People's Republic of China have been linked by good neighborly relations for many years, and our economic cooperation is strengthening every year. Kyrgyzstan considers China as one of its main partners in the field of foreign economic relations. The Kyrgyz side is interested in the dynamic development of trade between the two countries and the promotion of joint projects.”

He also said that China is one of the main strategic trade and investment partners of Kyrgyzstan.

“I am glad that the official visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan to China was successful. “The leaders of our countries held fruitful negotiations on broad bilateral cooperation,” said Bakit Tyoryobaev.

Investments from the People's Republic of China account for almost a third of the total foreign investment in the Kyrgyz Republic, compared with 2022.22% in 9 years.

Bakit Tyoryobaev also noted that it is very important to pay special attention to the expansion of interstate relations and economic cooperation between business circles for the benefit of countries.

“I believe that the results of the negotiations and the implementation of the agreements reached will be reflected in the indicators of trade and economic relations between Kyrgyzstan and China in the near future. I would like to once again thank the Chinese side for organizing this high-level meeting.”

It is worth noting that more than 20 businessmen from Kyrgyzstan and more than 80 businessmen from XUAR will take part in the meeting of Kyrgyz-Chinese businessmen and share their experience in their fields. As a result, bilateral agreements will be signed.
