Deputy Akim of East Kazakhstan Region Darkhan Sapanov communicated with the parent community of the gymnasium "Shanyrak" and school No. 11. According to him, the participants came to a decision that satisfied both sides, reports YK-news.kz . Today it was decided that the building of the Shanyrak school will be examined for accidents or repair requirements. And if it really needs repair, the school will be relocated to the building of the 11th school with its teaching staff, director, and all students will be transferred," Darkhan Sapanov said. At the same time, he stressed that all children who study at the 11th school will continue their studies there. The decision on the new school, which will be built in Ridder in the foreseeable future, will be made by the akimat of the city and the Department of Education of East Kazakhstan region. At the initiative of the regional authorities, the parties sat down at the negotiating table for the first time. As previously reported, students of the 11th Ridder School appealed to the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev with a request to help them stay in their school. As reported by YK-news.kz , a new 600-seat school in the 6th microdistrict opened last year. It teaches children in the state and Russian languages of instruction. Starting this year, about a hundred children with special educational needs will study here. Now correctional classes are being equipped for them at the school. Equipment and furniture have already been purchased. But on the eve of the school year, some members of the public raised the issue of transferring the building of the 11th school to the school with the Kazakh language of instruction "Shanyrak". Parents and children of school No. 11 are perplexed. The fact is that the Shanyrak school is underutilized, children study in it in one shift. The building of the educational institution, although old, is not recognized as an emergency, money for its repair in the right amount is allocated regularly, the publication informs.
