First Lady of Uzbekistan Ziroat Mirziyoyeva took part in the first meeting of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Council on Family and Women, held in Ankara. The meeting, organized within the framework of the 13th OTS Summit, addressed issues such as strengthening the institution of the family, protecting women's rights, and expanding opportunities for women across the Turkic states. In her address, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva put forward initiatives focused on broadening access to modern education for girls, fostering women's entrepreneurship, safeguarding maternal and child health, and providing support to families in need. She also placed special emphasis on the development of inclusive education and the creation of a safe online environment for children and adolescents. The First Lady noted that an environment where women’s knowledge and labor are valued—and where mutual respect and harmony prevail within the family—serves to strengthen society as a whole. At the conclusion of the meeting, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva expressed her gratitude to the First Lady of Turkey, Emine Erdoğan, for organizing the event.
