Man jailed for 8 days after insulting a traffic police officer and posting a video

In the Boston district of the Andijan region, a citizen who insulted a traffic police inspector and posted a video of the incident on Instagram has been sentenced to 8 days of administrative detention. This was reported by the regional Department of Internal Affairs.

According to the report, a traffic police inspector stopped a Damas vehicle to check the driver's documents. As the driver lacked the necessary documentation to operate the vehicle, an official report was drawn up, and the car was impounded at a designated impound lot.

At that moment, an individual who was a passenger in the vehicle filmed the inspector, insulted him, and uploaded the footage to his Instagram page.

By court order, the individual was sentenced to 8 days of administrative detention under Article 195-2 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.
