In Khorezm, a mother and her three daughters died from food poisoning

In the Bogot district of the Khorezm region, four members of a family—a mother and her three minor daughters—died from food poisoning. According to preliminary information, they had consumed salad left over from a birthday celebration.

Citing the press secretary of the Prosecutor General’s Office, "Daryo" reported that the family members ate food on October 8th that had remained from a birthday party held the previous day. Shortly thereafter, they began to exhibit symptoms of poisoning.

According to "Kun.uz," the salad had been prepared by the mother herself. Her husband was not at home when the tragedy occurred. The eldest of the three daughters who passed away was 7 years old.

A forensic medical examination has been ordered to determine the cause of death. A criminal case was initiated regarding the incident on October 10th. The investigation is ongoing, and the exact cause of the poisoning will be established based on the results of the forensic examination.
