World's oldest man dies at 112

The world's oldest man, John Alfred Tinniswood, has died in a nursing home in the UK at the age of 112. Tinniswood was born on August 26, 1912 — the same year the Titanic sank and the 268-year rule of the Qing Dynasty in China ended. In April 2024, John Alfred Tinniswood was listed by Guinness World Records as the world's oldest man.

Before Tinniswood, Juan Vincente Pérez Mora of Venezuela was considered the world's oldest man. He died in April this year at the age of 114.
