Doping is a substance that is often found in sports, but is strictly prohibited for professional athletes, enhancing the mental and physical activity of the body for a short period of time.
The word Doping is derived from the English word “dope”, which means “to give drugs.”
At one time, doping substances were used in order to improve the results of sports games. Since there were cases of doping substances poisoning and death among athletes, the International Olympic Committee has banned and established strict control over doping during the sports games since 1967.
Athletes who currently use doping are even excluded from competitions for up to several years.
