Uzbekistan finished the Winter Universiade without medals

The games of the XXXI World Winter Universiade have ended in the American Lake Placid. Along with athletes from 50 countries of the world, our compatriots also performed at the competitions.

As we reported earlier, the delegation of Uzbekistan with 13 athletes took part in figure skating, snowboarding and alpine skiing competitions. Despite the fact that domestic athletes were not among the winners, they gained the necessary experience for their future careers.

The next XXXII Winter Universiade will be held in the Italian city of Turin in 2025.
