Uzbekistan and Germany held political consultations

The delegations were headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Zhurat Fozilov and the representative of the Ministry of foreign affairs of Germany for Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia Matthias Luttenberg.

The event thoroughly discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, issues of expanding political ties and filling them with practical content, the schedule of future dialogues at different levels.

Particular attention was paid to the active promotion of economic diplomacy, including attracting German investments and technologies for the implementation of projects in Uzbekistan, increasing the export of products produced in the country to Germany.

The signed bilateral documents were inventory, the current state of the contractual and legal base was considered, as well as the process of implementing the previously reached agreements.

Cultural and humanitarian ties, in particular cooperation in the fields of education and health opinions were exchanged on the development.
