Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspects a $20 million tractor plant in Qarshi

Agricultural machinery is being assembled at the "FM World" enterprise under the "Nasaf" brand. Plans are in place to export 30 percent of the output.

During his visit to the Kashkadarya region, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the "FM World" plant in the city of Qarshi.

The $20 million facility, established with Chinese investment, has created 200 jobs. The enterprise assembles five models of tractors, cotton-picking machines, and other agricultural equipment. The tractors are equipped with GPS, autopilot, and remote monitoring systems.

With a localization rate of 30 percent, the plant manufactures 138 types of parts and components. Future plans include increasing the annual export volume to $50 million.

The production process was presented to the President, and discussions were held regarding the expansion of localization and the development of the national brand.
