Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration, shared her thoughts on the outcomes of the American-Uzbek Business and Investment Council meeting held in Samarkand, which was attended by the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
During the meeting, discussions were held with representatives from over 100 companies regarding opportunities for investment, business development, and the implementation of joint projects.
“The establishment of this Council opens up new opportunities for expanding cooperation between the two countries. The primary task now is to translate the agreements reached into practical results—in the form of investments, modern enterprises, and new jobs,” wrote Saida Mirziyoyeva.
She expressed her gratitude to Marco Rubio, his wife Jeanette, and the US President’s special representative, Sergio Gor, for their support of this initiative and their readiness to expand cooperation with Uzbekistan. She also extended special thanks to the President of Uzbekistan for the establishment of the Council.
