The Emir of Qatar has arrived in Tashkent.

On October 26, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who arrived in the country on a working visit.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Qatar, as well as issues related to the further development of their cooperation.

The two sides reviewed the expansion of projects in the trade-economic, investment, social, and humanitarian spheres, and examined the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level. Furthermore, the leaders exchanged views on issues of global and regional significance.
