On October 26, in the Polish city of Poznań, a 31-year-old Ukrainian driver became trapped at a railway crossing while operating a tanker truck. Unable to proceed due to traffic congestion, the driver struck the railway barrier.
Another driver got out of his vehicle and attempted to lift the barrier, but the Ukrainian driver drove into it. No one was injured in the incident.
The tanker contained plant-based fertilizer, which is not classified as a hazardous substance. The driver was not intoxicated and held the appropriate license to operate such a vehicle. He initially admitted fault to the police but later denied it when questioned by the prosecutor's office. His driver's license has been confiscated.
