Microsoft and Meta Experts Establish Cooperation Ties with Uzbekistan

Experts from Microsoft and Meta discussed opportunities to develop cooperation with Uzbekistan in the field of artificial intelligence during an event held in Seattle, USA. The main focus was on training young people in modern technologies and helping Uzbek startups enter international markets.

On October 30, the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Washington State hosted the closing forum of Seattle AI Week. The event brought together around 60 representatives of technology companies, universities, investment organizations, and government agencies.

The forum addressed Uzbekistan's digital development priorities, including training AI specialists, supporting startups, and expanding technological infrastructure.

At the end of the event, the Consulate General of Uzbekistan and the World Digital Technology Academy (WDTA) signed a memorandum of cooperation. The document provides for strengthening ties between universities, companies, and government institutions, as well as exploring joint educational initiatives and pilot projects. Attention will also be given to cybersecurity and data protection.
