It became known how many babies were born in the city of Tashkent in seven months

In January-July 2023, the Ministry of Health in Tashkent registered 45,473 cases of live births. This is reported by the Statistical Agency.

From this:

boys - 23,571;
girls - 21,902 people.
According to the Darya Statistics Agency, in the first six months of this year, 16,300 more boys were born in Uzbekistan than girls.

In Uzbekistan, in January 2023, the Ministry of Health recorded 76,199 cases of live births. 1816 of them are twin babies. For January-June, 434,519 births were registered. In 2022, the number of mothers who gave birth to their first child in Uzbekistan amounted to 280,432 people.
