Conflict Escalates Around “Imarat Development”: Buyers Demand Refunds

Problems have emerged within construction projects in Tashkent associated with “Imarat Development.” Some residential units, promised for completion by 2025, remain unfinished. Unable to take possession of their apartments, buyers are demanding the return of their money. The situation has been further complicated by disagreements among the company’s founders.

Amidst the conflict, Marat Khamdamov—known as the company’s founder—released a video statement. He claims that other founders have excluded him from certain projects and that he and his family have been subjected to threats. At present, there is no clear timeline regarding when the buyers will receive refunds or when the delayed projects will be completed.

Videos reflecting growing discontent are circulating on social media. There are even reports that one dissatisfied individual attempted to inflict knife wounds upon himself.
