Despite having no formal engineering education, Indian inventor Ravi Tamta developed an electric flying vehicle called HAPIDA SKYNeX after 13 years of independent research and experimentation.

Designed for a single passenger, the prototype successfully completed its first test flight in August 2026, remaining airborne for nearly a minute.

The inventor hopes the technology could eventually be used for short-distance travel in mountainous regions, reaching remote villages, and providing emergency medical assistance.

The flying vehicle is still in the prototype stage and requires further testing and regulatory approvals before it can be put into practical use.

💬 Do you think flying cars could become a common mode of transportation in the future?
