Individual in Bukhara arrested for producing counterfeit currency with a color printer and cultivating cannabis

In the Vobkent district of the Bukhara region, authorities discovered 1,516 counterfeit 2,000-soum banknotes, a color printer, and narcotic substances at the home of a local resident. This was reported by the Customs Committee.
During the search, counterfeit currency with a total face value of 3,032,000 soums was seized, along with 284.71 grams of a substance resembling marijuana and 7 cannabis plants.
A criminal case has been initiated, and an investigation is currently underway.
