On October 23, Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany reportedly lost consciousness while watching a training session involving the club’s reserve team. He was taken to hospital by ambulance and is undergoing medical examinations. It had previously been reported that the coach was battling a viral infection. No further details about his condition have been released so far.
Earlier, Bayern midfielder Jamal Musiala also felt unwell twice in August during friendly matches against RB Leipzig and Heidenheim, forcing him to leave the pitch.
