Uzbek weightlifter Sardor Lapasov was disqualified for 4 years due to an anti-doping violation. The doping test taken from the athlete during the competition revealed the presence of "Clenbuterol", a substance banned in sports. "Clenbuterol" is included in the 2024 list of prohibited substances.

A person serving a period of disqualification is prohibited from participating in international and national competitions and training camps until the end of the sentence.
