Sardar Ortach and a number of other famous artists were arrested

Sardor Ortach, a well-known singer who took part in an online gambling advertisement, was arrested. This was reported by "Cumhuriyet". Currently, Sardar Ortach has been sentenced to house arrest on the charge of "betting and gambling".
After the court session, Ortach expressed his regret for his actions and said the following: "I am very sorry. I lost my home, my health and my family because of this gambling addiction. And now I am in court."

Turkish actor Mehmet Ali Erbil, musician Zorbey Erkoch, blogger Ibrahim Yilmaz with 19 million subscribers, Russian-Turkish blogger Alexander Mensikov and Esma Sezen with 1.3 million subscribers were arrested among 23 people suspected of online gambling advertising. After they were arrested and interrogated by the local Cybercrime Investigation Unit, the Prosecutor's Office sent a request to the court for their arrest.
