Hasanboy Dosmatov, a member of the Uzbek national boxing team, became the first Uzbek boxer to have the honor of two-time Olympic champion. Our compatriot won the gold medal of the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games to our delegation after defeating the host boxer Bilal Bennama in the just-concluded championship fight.

And Abdumalik Khalokov, the winner of the Junior Olympics in boxing and the world champion, has qualified for the finals of the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games. Our compatriot, participating in the -57 kg weight category, defeated the Australian Charlie Senior in the semi-finals and went to the ring for the championship on August 10.

Thus, all 5 of our boxers who reached the semi-finals went to the decisive stage.
