Apple is no longer working on the smart ring project

According to insider Mark Gurman, Apple has stopped work on a smart ring that has been in development for a long time. The main reason for this decision is the insufficient number of unique functions.

Apple has several patents for devices with this form factor, but the experience of Samsung and Oura has clearly shown that smart rings are not yet in great demand.
